Q: Are there any setup fees for servers/hosting? A: No, there are no setup fees.
Q: Where are your servers located? A: We currently have servers located in Dallas, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, Seattle, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, and London. Test your ping to these locations from the servers listed on the right side of your screen. We are expanding rapidly and if we do not have servers located close to where you live, we will shortly.
Q: Will I have FTP access? A: You will have full access to your server with a powerful Web Based Tool called CS Admin and any FTP program you wish to use.
Q: What are HLStats and HLStatsX? A: HLStats (For Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero) and HLStatsX (For Counter-Strike Source, Half-Life 2 Deathmatch, DOD:Source, and more) are web based stats and are different from in-game stats, which some mods provide. Q: Will you install mods on my server for me? A: Most of the popular mods we have in our mods section you can install yourself with the click of a button inside CS Admin. If the mod is not available in the control panel preconfigured for you to install, simply open a support ticket and one of our experienced support specialists can install the mod for you or help you install it.
Q:Why can't I find my server in the Steam server browser? A: There are thousands of servers listed in the Steam list and sometimes it doesn't list them all when doing a search. The most common mistake is not setting the correct Region filter. When searching for servers click on "Filter" and select the region that your server is located in. The region setting is a setting within your server.cfg file (sv_region). If you select the correct region, then you should be able to easily find your server listed. Possible values for the sv_region variable are below. The most common variable for this is "1." If you want your server to be located in a different region, simply change the variable in your server.cfg file and restart your server. Searching in the Steam list with that region Filter should now being up your server.

If that does not work, try the "Run Steam Update" feature within your control panel. If Steam came out with an update, then your server may need to be updated to the most current version before it�ll show on the Steam list.
Q: HLSW is giving me an error A: We are unable to provide support for third party programs. Please search the forums on their website or their faq's section for help with the program. The below link is a good place to start. HLSW has a known issue that says "can not view logs" when trying to retrieve "get logs" from HLSW. This is an issue with the program and not your server provided by us. Q: I'm getting a "video mode" or "Direct X" error A: This does not have to do with the server that you purchased from us. Please seek support for your video card or the game files on your computer might be corrupt. A common solution to these problems is reinstalling your video card drivers or your game.
Q: I want to switch my server to a different location. A: If you would like to have your server in a different location, open up a Support Ticket and your server will be moved. Your server ip address will change, but your server configurations will stay the same. There is no fee assocated with this.

Q: How do I cancel my account? A: To cancel your account, please open a support ticket in your game server control panel. This is the only way we can identify you as the account owner. Also, it allows us to identify what services belong to you.
Q: I want to add more or take away player slots from my server. A: Open a ticket in CS Admin. Your billing will be changed to reflect how many players slots you now have.
Q: How do I add music to my MOTD? A: Your motd can be made into an html document. If you have web space, you can refer to your music file in your motd.txt like this:
Q: I have my server set up how I like it - how can I backup my configuration? A: You don't need to backup core files (like srcds.exe, etc) which have no configuration changes. You only need to backup files you have configured. Simply download those files by clicking on them in the file manager utility within your control panel. You can save them on your home computer as a backup. If you wish to download many files at once, check the box to the left of the filename and then click the "zip files" at the top of the file list. You may also download files to your computer quickly via ftp.
Q: I uploaded custom maps to my server, but they are not working. A: Make sure you downloaded the maps from a trusted online site and you are not simply uploading maps that you have downloaded onto your computer automatically when joining servers. If you are simply uploading maps that you already have on your computer, then you will not have all of the needed files on your server for the map to function properly. Please redownload the map and follow the directions that that specific map came with. If you are getting the message 'missing BSP,'see the section dedicated to that message.
